Everything a new life in Korea asks of you
The paperwork, the job hunt, the food, the people. Agora Korea puts the things you actually search for in one app.
Communities
Find your people by city, by country, by what you are into. Ask a question in the forum and get an answer from someone who has already done it.
Jobs
Openings that actually accept your visa, with the conditions written out — not buried in a group chat you had to be invited to.
Visas & documents
Sixty-nine visa types, each broken into the steps, the documents and the office that actually handles it.
Living in Korea
Banking, health insurance, tax, housing, phones, rubbish rules, the doctor. The guides nobody hands you when you land.
Explore Korea
Places worth the train fare, from someone who lives here — with the practical bits: how to get there, what it costs, when to go.
Events & concerts
Meet-ups, festivals and concerts, with the ones near you first — so you hear about it before it sells out.
See Korea like someone who lives here
Not a top-ten list written from another continent. Places, festivals and day trips with the details that decide whether you actually go.
- Getting there, what it costs, the best season
- Save anything to come back to it later

The everyday things, sorted
Food you can eat, a place to pray, a bank account that opens, a phone plan that works. Agora Korea covers the ordinary problems that quietly cost you a whole weekend.
- Halal restaurants and prayer spaces, for those who need them
- Health insurance, tax and banking, explained in plain English

Never miss what your people are doing
Community events, national-day gatherings, church and mosque notices, concerts. The things that make a country feel less like a posting and more like a home.
- Events near you, first
- Start your own community and run it yourself

Questions, answered
When can I download it?
Agora Korea is still in development and is not on the stores yet. Email us and we will tell you the day it is released — that is the only thing we will use your address for.
Does it cost anything?
No. Agora Korea is free to download and free to use.
Is this the same app as Kampung Korea?
Same team and the same foundations, a different community. Kampung Korea serves Indonesians and Mahalla Korea serves Central Asia; Agora Korea is for people from the West and from Africa, so the communities, the jobs board and the guides are the ones that fit that life.
What does "agora" mean?
The agora was the public square of a Greek city — where people met, traded news and settled things together. It is the same idea as kampung and mahalla in our other apps: the place the community gathers.
Who is behind it?
KiosKorea, a Korea-based team building community apps for people who have moved here. More about us.
Be there on day one
Tell us you want it and you will hear from us the moment Agora Korea is live — nothing else.
