1. Acceptance of these terms
Kampung Korea (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a community app for the Indonesian and Southeast-Asian community living in or visiting South Korea, published by KiosKorea. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who can use Kampung Korea
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the app. Browsing public content does not require an account; creating posts, joining communities, and other account-based features require you to sign in.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from the app or by contacting us.
4. Community & user-generated content
Kampung Korea lets members post content such as forum threads, comments, community listings, reviews, and photos (“user content”). You own the content you create. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute it within the app so the community can see it. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it.
5. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is no tolerance for objectionable, offensive, or illegal content, or for abusive behaviour towards other members. This includes, but is not limited to: harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, sexual or violent content, spam, fraud, and any content that is unlawful or demeaning.
By using Kampung Korea you agree that you will not post objectionable content or engage in abusive behaviour. We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or permanently ban any user who violates this policy, at our sole discretion and without notice.
We act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users. We aim to review every report and remove violating content and eject the offending user within 24 hours.
6. Reporting and blocking
Every post and comment has a menu (⋮) with a Report option to flag objectionable content, and a Block user option to stop seeing content from and interactions with an abusive member. Blocked users cannot contact you, and their content is hidden from you.
If you believe content violates these terms, please report it in the app or email us at [email protected]. We take every report seriously.
7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: break any law; infringe others’ rights; post objectionable content as described above; attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the app; collect other users’ data without consent; or use the app to send spam or scams.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms or to protect the community. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app and its content (including community-submitted listings, prayer times, halal information, and travel content) are provided “as is” without warranties. Always verify important information independently. To the extent permitted by law, KiosKorea is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
