This page explains how to delete your Kampung Korea account and the personal data associated with it. Kampung Korea is published by KiosKorea.
Delete your account from inside the app If you can sign in, this is the fastest way and takes effect immediately:
- Open the Kampung Korea app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are permanently deleted right away.
Request deletion by email If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account: [email protected] — subject line: Account deletion request. We verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your profile (name, username, photo, bio, preferences).
- Your content: forum posts and comments, community memberships, and any photos or listings you uploaded.
- Your notification token used for push notifications.
What may be retained, and for how long
- Routine encrypted backups are rotated and purged within 30 days.
- We may keep a minimal record where required by law, and aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you.
